RH 6.2 upgrade

I am planning to upgrade tomorrow my RH 6.0 to RH 6.2.  I am wondering
how it will deal with my Promise UDMA66 card.  When I first installed
the RH6.0 I made an install disk with the Promise module.  Will RH 6.2
preserve the needed files etc.  for the Promise card during the
upgrade.  Has anyone out there done this with the promise card>
