Actually, yes, they did. Here is what they had to say:

--------

i've been using it for about a year now with mandrake6.0, 128mb ram, and
a dumb 16mb ati graphics card (i hate ati!). i had to buy xig because
the ati card wasn't supported under xfree, since ati wouldn't release
their proprietary specs to enable xfree to build a server for it. it
works well, and the very occasional time that it does lock up, it
generates an email message to root, which is a bug report to be
forwarded to xig if desired. i've emailed xig twice about a resolution
question, and didn't receive an answer either time. i wanted to make my
screen size very tall, but normal width, i.e., 1024x600. using Xsetup
only allows 800x600, 1024x780?, and a couple other choices, and manual
editing the config file doesn't work either. maybe there's an update on
their page - i haven't made time to look into it. i'd buy the xig
product again if necessary - next time i'll just make sure my video card
is support first!

chip.

Hi Mark

I've been using AccelX since version 1.2, on a wide variety of desktops
[ranging from a P100 w/ a 2MB Diamond card to a dual Celeron w/ a Matrox
G400 with dual display] and laptops [Mostly thinkpads, a couple
Chembooks]. Right now XiG has my new Thinkpad A20p, working up a
graphics driver that will do 1400x1050.

I've found their server to be typically 10-30% faster than XFree86, and
they have always been willing to provide tech support, even relating to
graphics cards they don't claim to support. I don't think you can go
wrong with them.

Huh? what "responses" ? I saw the original posting and was waiting
for any replies, and now, just this reply a day later, both from the
original poster, with no intervening replies from others.

Mark, did the "responders", reply to you directly, perhaps?
If so, could you please summarize those replies here? No names necessary,
just the facts.

Responses may be beneficial to other than just the poster.
That is what this forum is all about... help for all. Summarizing
is the usual etiquette, at least on forums where replies are via private
email.

thanks,
