I bought that same book (I'm a home user) and found it well written too. The only
thing that I've
found not cool is that when talking about changing your login screen to something
other than gdm or
whatever, it says something to the meaning of: "in such and such file you change
this... but thats
not all!! you also have to change this file..." didn't tell me why or how to do it.
oh well
though. When I bought RH 6.2 I just backed up my files and did a clean install and
now with Helix
GNOME everything works more than beautifully. :-) So that book isn't just good for
servers is my
long-winded point.
