I have a PS/2 IntelliMouse with the following in my /etc/X11/XF86Config

The wheel scrolls fine however when I do any resource intense work the
mouse pointer goes to the upper right of the screen and will not move
until I press and scroll the wheel. I have this same problem if I us
imwheel. The system is a Dell OptiPlex GX1 with 128M of ram running KDE.
