hello, i have a few questions i need clarified.
i had the 2.2.14-5.0 kernel (worked fine)
got/installed the 2.2.14-12 kernel rpm (worked fine)
got/extracted/recompiled the 2.2.14>2.2.15 kernel patch(works currently)
question is : did i not do something right ? because my kernel still says it
is a 2.2.14-5.0 kernel.
everything works tho(including the ALI ide patch).
or does the number part of the kernel not matter because , like i said, it
all works.
