Hi, Jim!

As far as I remember, smallest 5.x install was 53 MB. Processor is not a
problem, and I run an X system with a 486/66 and 24 MB, so I would say with
existing RAM it is possible. If I were your friend, I would either buy a
bigger hdd (a friend could have a bigger drive) or an IDE zip drive (a 100
MB unit costs about $60). You can also try using the box as a NFS diskless
terminal, or using it as a router (there is a linux version for this purpose
that runs on a single diskette). You may like to take a look at sunsite for
the mini-distros.
