what does du and df show? I'm no guru but trying to help.
What was the resolution last time?
Anything weird in the logs? How 'bout a look through the users' and root's
history files? I would probably scan roots history file manually and try a
grep on the others for 'rm '. Probably something different but I would try
the obvious stuff first. I also would try to figure out who was logged on
when it happened and save it for a comparison if it happens again.
