Hi all,

all problems seem to come from LILO itself. It seems to be buggy somehow.
I have a SCSI system and recently I've added a IDE hd.
Now when running LILO I've got the message:

Warning: /dev/sda5 is not on the first disk

I did not think that this would prevent LILO from booting.
So I disconnected the IDE drive and booted from a floppy.
Then I've rerun LILO and there was no error message. Then I could boot from hd
again. I reconnected the IDE hd and LILO is still working, but when runing LILO
again one would get again the error message and LILO won't boot.

Greetings

Andreas
