Hi, friends!

I am having a hard time with two new SCSI drives (8 GB each). I
installed Win98 on the first (ID0) and I was trying to install Linux (RH
6.2) on the second (ID1).

KDE Workstation install with automatic partitioning gave up an "error
making swap on sdb5". I tried doing a simple partitioning with DiskDruid
as follows:

/boot: 16MB Linux native.
125 MB Linux swap.
/ :the rest of the SCSI drive.

And I got same error on creating the swap partition. I was sent back to
DiskDruid, and all the Linux partitions had been automatically erased. I
tried again with no luck. Then, I tried fdisk. I checked the partition
table, created the partitions, wrote the partition table, and quit
fdisk. Back in the installation, I got the creating swaop error message,
went back to fdisk, and partitions were gone again.

Any clues?

Thanks.

-Manuel.
