RedHat Version 5.2
Samba version 2.0.6

I recently upgraded the Samba RPMs from version 2.0.3 to 2.0.6, because
Windows 2000 wouldn't connect.

I've replaced my old smb.conf from the smb.conf.rpmsave.

Now, both Windows 98 and Windows 2000 will connect ONLY when I use the root
account.

The guest account and default home directories don't show any more.

For example, previously, logging in as 'userx', would run my netlogon script
and map a drive L: to /home/userx, as well as setting the time on the client
machine. Also, the Linux server would show up in NN, and I could browse from
there as well.

Now, it will only map the drive if I log on as root (not good), and Linux
does not show up any more. The domain master, preferred master etc, etc, etc
is still all set correctly in the smb.conf.

I've read the README.txt and WHATSNEW.txt, but can't find anything specific
to my problem. Does anybody know what behaviour has changed in the versions
to stop my server working properly with my 2.0.3 configuration file?

TIA
