What are you trying to do? If you want to use encripted passwords in Samba,
and create the Samba password file from the Unix one, then there is not direct
way to do it. You can have Samba set the passwords in its password file from
plain text passwords to make the change to encripted passwords easyer using
the "update encrypted" option. (man 5 smb.conf)
If you want changing the Samba password to also change the Unix password,
the check the "unix password sync" option.
