I think this might help...

I was reading through the man page for lilo.conf and found two options
that might be of use to you.  password= and restricted are both options
you might want to mess with.  I've never done it but from what I'm
reading you can assign a pssword to a particular image.  In this case
you can assign a password to the linux image and default your login to
Windoze (with no password).

Check out the man page.  I'm pretty sure this is what your looking for. 
Again I've never done it myself.  I may someday soon.  Just to see if it
works :D

I want to setup a classroom with dual boot systems but I do not want
students that know nothing about Linux booting into Linux.  The
student, say a non technical english student, would not know how to
reboot the system and press the power reset button.  Is it possible with

LILO or some other third party boot software to password protect Linux
so
that only students that know a password be able to boot into Linux and
everyone else to boot into Windows 98 without a password?  Is it
possible
to password protect a single boot option?
