Greetings all, I'm beginning to experiment with IP masquerading using ipchains and have a Win95 PC behind my masquerade box. It's working so far, so good, but the PC keeps opening a UDP port, ipchains will time it out, then it reopens, etc, etc, etc... I'm wondering if anyone knows what port this is and why it keeps getting opened: # ipchains -M -L IP masquerading entries prot expire source destination ports UDP 00:50.67 192.168.0.2 204.117.1.7 1027 (61177) -> 38293 Who is 204.117.1.7 and what is UDP destination port 38293? The PC has real audio and Intel's LAN desk installed, but I've stopped both of those (I think). The things our PC's do without us even knowing - isn't it interesting... -Eric Eric Sisler Library Computer Technician Westminster Public Library Westminster, CO, USA [EMAIL PROTECTED] Linux - don't fear the Penguin.
