John, Because of the size of the manuals, plus the Gimp docs, plus the
How-To's in several different languages, etc, etc, etc... the
documentation
was (mostly) moved to a new Documents CD. The boxed sets all include
the installation CD, the source CD, and the documentation CD. The
Deluxe
and Professional versions include Powertools and Applications sampler
CD's,
and the Professional version includes a CD of CPAN (perl) modules to
support internet server type operations without having to go hunting on
web sites. The Powertools & CPAN CD images can be, I believe,
downloaded
as images, and burned by the user at home. The applications CD's are
not
so available, it appears.
