just wondering if there is a more secure option than standard POP for our off-site users to be checking mail with... eudora (client favoured by our remote users) supports Kerberos and APOP - although Kerberos "requires extra software" So I was wondering if a) APOP is a secure (no cleartext passowrds thanks!) authentication method, b) does anyone have this running on their machine and c) how can I play too? Thanks in advance, Dan. PS. tunneling POP through SSH etc. are not options for us as our remote clients are mostly mac users. -- ----- Nitro - 3D Visualisation, Graphics & Animation Ph (+61 2) 9810 5177 - Fx (+61 2) 9810 0199 http://www.nitro.com.au/ -- To unsubscribe: mail [EMAIL PROTECTED] with "unsubscribe" as the Subject.
