I don't have such a file in /var/log/ ... I have checked the obvious locations, as
well as docs on the net, man pages, and redhat.com searches (as I always do before
posting here). I can see statements from pppd in /var/log/messages, but nothing
relating to connect rate or session length. Thanks though Danny, I appreciate your
input!
I think I may figure out the AT command to refuse connections below a certain
speed. Then I won't need to know what my connect rate actually is.
