I'm a bit of a newborn on Linux so this may be a very simple problem. I've installed 6.1 on a Compaq 3000 with Compaq RAID controller and a seperate SCSI boot drive. No problem, install my boot drive as sda and the RAID as ida. Now, I try 6.2 install and it wont see the same config the same way. It insists on putting /boot and / on the RAID. With HP Netservers with HP netraid cards, neither 6.1 nor 6.2 will see the boot drive load / and /boot on it but 6.0 has no problem with this config. Can anyone give me a clue as to why this is so? I am getting rid of Novell for Linux (for Macintosh support) and need to figure this one out.
