Except by reading this list (as is my faithful wont), I'd not have
thought to do the md5sum check.  I had, however, fully read the Red
Hat instructions on downloading and burning.  There is no mention of
this issue therein. 

I note that I downloaded three different times (God Bless my
connection ;) before getting a true copy (which I've burnt tonight and will upgrade
tomorrow).  Query whether some problems people have with upgrades/new
installs may be related to working with a corrupted iso file?  Further,
wouldn't it be a great idea for Red Hat to add this to their "How To
Download Red Hat Linux 6.2" document?
