I had, however, fully read the Red Hat instructions on downloading and burning. There is no mention of this issue therein. I note that I downloaded three different times (God Bless my connection ;) before getting a true copy (which I've burnt tonight and will upgrade tomorrow). Query whether some problems people have with upgrades/new installs may be related to working with a corrupted iso file?
