I upgraded samba from 2.0.5a to 2.0.6 to fix a problem mounting Windows 95
shares on my home LAN. Fixed the problem but since the upgrade my Windows
95 machine persistently asks me to enter a password for the Linux
printer. Here is that snippet of the /etc/smb.conf :

# NOTE: If you have a BSD-style print system there is no need to
# specifically define each individual printer
[printers]
comment = All Printers
path = /var/spool/samba
browseable = yes
guest ok = yes
writable = yes
printable = yes

I've fiddled with 'browseable' and 'guest ok' but it doesn't seem to
help. The Linux disk shares work great. Any ideas about the differences
between 2.0.5a and 2.0.6 in this regard? Is this one of the three security
holes they closed (and if so, how do I make Win95 silently connect)?

Thanks!
