Jeff,
use VNCviewer available at http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/
You install the VNCserver on the Linux box, and use the VNCviewer on the
client OS you are trying to view from.
The viewer is available for the MAC, Windows 9x/NT/CE, Solaris, and
Linux. Works fragging great!
