I have read that any application can specify a "line discipline" for each TTY device; I have even found the code which adds a new line discipline to the list of available discilines and the code which specifies a new line discipline for a given TTY. I have not, however, found the code for any of the standard line disciplines. I would very much appreciate it if someone could point me at the code for any line discipline so that I can use it as a starting point for writing a new one. Thank you very much.
