Hi, I have a Linux box running redhat distrib. I had two nics where the second never worked so I removed it. kudzu was unable to remove the second nic configuration as it is like the first a 3com905btx but it succeeded in removing the cdrom configuration, so that now I can no more use my cdrom drive. Removing the also the first nic and changing it with an accton en1208 seems solved, in part, the problem. Now I've reinstalled the two 3com cards but still unable to use the cdrom drive. ln -s /dev/hdd /dev/cdrom didn't solved the problem. Need a MAKEDEV ?
