You don't - it's in the 2.2.x kernels. Remember, it's a BLOCK
driver, not a SCSI. The devices are in a sub directory under
/dev and there's a bunch of them. If you're going to install on
a raid, go into the card, Control-R I think, and set up your raid.
Reboot and the RH install will find it; looks like one drive to
it. Remember to make a small /boot partion first as the 1024 limit
still applies.
I strongly suggest reading the hardware manual and the driver doc in
/usr/src/linix/Documentation!
