Hi,
Can anybody tell me why I see things like :

Jan 16 10:37:15 owl kernel: set_rtc_mmss: can't update from 56 to 7
Jan 16 10:38:16 owl kernel: set_rtc_mmss: can't update from 56 to 8
Jan 16 10:39:17 owl kernel: set_rtc_mmss: can't update from 56 to 9
Jan 16 10:40:18 owl kernel: set_rtc_mmss: can't update from 56 to 10

in /var/log/messages . Is it a harware problem ? Or a problem with xntpd ?

In addition hwclock seems to hang forever if I try to show ( or set )
the hardware clock.

I'm running 2.2.12-20smp kernel compiled from the kernel-source-2.12-20....
package.
