Hello: Does anyone know if the Cirrus Logic MD4450C model 336IFX ISA modem is supported by RH 6.0 running 2.2.5-15smp kernal on a i586 INTEL setup. The kernel does not report the modem which I have manually setup at com1 IRQ 4 on it's install. Even so I am wondering if the correct init string would get the modem to dial with kppp. kppp reports on a modem check that the modem could not be initialized. Any help would be appreciated.
