I don't know about bind.  Go to http://www.apache.org and click on apache
and then documentation and then virtual hosting.  Find the closest example
and follow it exactly.  If that doesn't seem to work, explain what you're
trying to do and the logs, perferably on an apache mailing list like
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

Yes, you can use different ports but AFAIK the name info is decrypted too
late for name-based virtual hosting.  And I don't think the apache docs
actually spell this out--at least I missed it.

PS - Maybe I do know about BIND:  You need to create a DNS entry for each
IP address and the name that the client is going to use must match the
certificate, even if its a CNAME.  So you have to get the DNS working first
and then if your host x.y.com has a cname of steve.org, you need to create
a cert for steve.org.  Otherwise, there will be a disconcerting and
totally-unprofessional-looking warning dialog thrown every time a client
tries to access the site.
