Hello:
I was wondering if there is a way to disconnect a modem fro the phone
line, when for some reason it doesn't respond to pppd.
sometimes my ppp connection dies and pppd will detach from the modem but
the modem will still be online, I try to disconnect it using minicom and
cu but both show that modem is locked so my only solution is to reboot,
there must be some other way to force the disconnection from linux.
of course the modem is internal and works fine with Linux.
