I have installed RH 6.0 and mgetty. When I dial in, and start pppd, I see a
constant stream of "Protocol -Reject for unsupported protocol 0x5072"
messages in my /var/log/messages file. There appears to be three protocols
that are rejected. They are identifed as 0x5072, 0x6c6f and 0x7265. This
occurs constantly during the connection. I see that the modem lights are
blinking every second. Other than that, the connection works and I am able
to ftp into the server.

Is there a way to stop these messages? They are consuming a lot of
bandwidth. I have included three aliases in my conf.modules file, they are
for bsd and deflate. Any suggestions?? (My dial in client is Windows 95)
