Oh!
I don't know a thing about HP 1000s. Mind you look at its manual and see
if it can or does emulate something else. For that matter it might just
understand native postscript upon which you'd be able to use it as a
generic post script printer.
There does appear to be a generic HP LaserJet selection...try that! Who
knows...it might work...
