Ok, that explains a thing or two... I'd consider an ordinary heatsink
(i.e. without fan) as not efficient enough for a K6-2, that's for sure.
However, you might get away with lowering the core voltage by 0.1V below
what's printed on the CPU - that would cut down on heat dissipation as well.
Make sure to run a few high load tests after that to verify stability.
Oh - and give it some grease... ;-)
Other than that this 1U rack does sound interesting... :-)
