Hello

I found out that it was not linuxconf doing this. I entered an interactive
startup in multi-user mode and did not start any services. The problem
still persists. The instant I drop into single user mode with telinit S,
the problem goes away. I even downgraded linuxconf to r3.2 just to be sure
it wasn't the new release of linuxconf doing this. Anybody have any idea
what is causing this now?
