Greetings, I have 2 RH Linux servers, one running RH 5.2 and the other running RH 6.0 I've found that the one running RH 6.0 does not log deletion of files from ftp connections to my /var/log/messages. On the other hand, the one running RH 5.2 does. I've checked /etc/inetd.conf and found that both have the following :- ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.ftpd -l -a I've also checked the ftpaccess file and both are the same. So how come one is logging file deletion while the other is not? Is there somewhere else I should be looking? I've tested using -L instead of -l -a and although that gave me logging on deletion, it also gave me other info like password which I do not want. Any help appreciated. Thanks, Clare
