Well, I looked at the syslog.conf and it is the same as the syslog.conf.rpmsave
from last December so that isn't it. And the messages aren't going to
/var/log/messages, just to the current console. If I switch consoles, the
messages follow.
I did find a referance to syslog and logging in the man entry for
named.conf but it doesn't make sense and I didn't need it before.
