Hi:
I'm running RH 6.0 in a Compaq Deskpro (Pentium MMX) but I can't have the x
server work. I have the vertical and horizontal sync freq. (50-100 Hz and
31-48,4 kHz repectively) and I've tried many others and nothing! Besides the
mouse doesn't move at all (PS2 connector) and I've tried with all the protocols.
I thought it was the kernel (2.2.5) so I changed it (2.2.13) but it all remained
the same. Does anyone have any idea of what can I do?
Besides I realized that I cannot use "make bzlilo" when compiling the kernel,
but I have to mannualy copy the bzImage to /boot/vmlinuz to make it bootable.
The problem is that I don't know how to put up to date the System.map file. I'm
getting a warning message at the booting moment for this.
