Cyrix CPU & kernel 2.0.33

        I recompiled the kernel with the Cyrix patches downloaded from
www.linuxhq.com and now my Cyrix PR150+ CPU is recognized as an IE86???
Doing a cat /proc/cpuinfo shows the corect CPU type, but uname -m shows
IE86.
Because of this starnge thing I cannot install RPM packages. I always get
the message that "this package is for anothe arhitecture". How can I fix
this problem?
