Sorry if this is an ignorant question but I am new to the UNIX/Linux world
so please bear with me...
Does anyone know of a resource that would help me understand the directory
structure and the files used in the Linux operating system. What I am
looking for is a brief description of each directory and what it is used
for. A list of the files in each directory and what they do would be very
helpful too. I need to get up to speed quickly and I think this information
would give me a big head start.
