I've never tried the following myself, but you should be able to get it to
work.
Boot the install disk and use rescue mode. Mount / on /mnt and fix
/mnt/etc/fstab by hand, looking for anything else that is wrong.
Try running /sbin/lilo to remake the MBR and then reboot. Hopefully that will
get you going. You might have to copy your /mnt/etc/lilo.config (or whatever
it is named) to /etc and then run lilo.
