If you read one (or all) of these; PPP_howto, ISP_Hookup_howto, or the
docs that come with pppd itself, I think you will find where the error is.
A little hint here, is that HEARING your modem doing something is NOT a
measure of proof as to whether your pppd has negotiated a successful ppp
link. You might need to type some commands to verify that! (goodgrief)
Haha...you might find it more worth to send us the kdebug if you
continue to have trouble...I doubt a .wav file of what you are hearing
would be as helpful :^)
