Its in one of the HOWTO's somewhere, but you can sort it by typing;
xmodmap -e "keycode 22 = BackSpace osfBackSpace"
I think its something to do with Motif. Sorry I can't remember the
source of it, maybe someone else can help.
There's a file you should stick it in when you start X, only I'm not
sure which. I restarted so infrequently that I just typed it in again...
