This subject has probably been beaten over with a stick before, but I must ask since I'm new to the list... What is the word on installing RH 5.0 on my PC that has an Adaptec 2940 SCSI adapter? Both my PC at work and at home have the same card, and neither can install Linux. I get all the way through the installation upto where it wants to install the boot file. Solaris x86 works just fine :( If this is a FAQ, please point me to the FAQ. I've already seen the official answer on the RH web site.
