On a similar note, I have this alias setup and I am getting color for my
directories, links, and executables, but no other file types that I am
specifying in my /etc/DIR_COLORS or ~/.dir_colors files.
It appears that the /etc/DIR_COLORS is not getting fully read and all of
the .gz,.tgz,.gif, etc files are not getting colored as expected. Any
ideas?
Thanks!
