I use the INTELLINET IVIEW 4-port minin KVM switch.    I have not had any
issues with it.
I tried a Linksys KVM before this one and it would not always work correctly
requiring a reboot of either the linux or the W2k machine.
The IVIEW has not experienced these problems.

But I am not running the resolutions on my monitor that you are so I cannot
say that this will give you the performance you are looking for.  The box on
the IVIEW says it supports up to 1920X1440
