It will, but the recommended way is to move the files to a separate directory and do a rpm -Fvh *.rpm. Make sure if you are using up2date* that there are no stray up to date rpms in the directory. The other thing that is floating around is the file name with [1] in it. Eliminate that from the file name if they are present. Using rpm -Uvh is okay if your up2date installation is pure otherwise it will fail.
