Add a stanza in the preamble of lilo as follows

default=win95

and run /sbin/lilo

that should take care of it

Subject: Booting into win instead of Linux

Hi there!

History:
I installed Linux on a second hard disk and let the installation place the
Lilo bootstrap on the MBR of my first IDE.

Fact:
Every time the computer boots it loads LILO (as usual, nothing wrong about it) and
I type win95 to load Windows and just <enter> to load Linux

Question:
How can I tell LILO to default to windows 95 instead of Linux? (ie typing linux to load it
and <enter> to load win95)

Why:
I share the computer with my brother and my nephews, and they aren't the kind of
people who would understand this type of behaviour.... instead I would love them to
just type <enter> and that's it, or just wait for the timeout to lad win95.

Thanx!
