actualy problem is i do not know if i have any bad block my home partion if check every 20 boots and i never got any error about bad partions also /dev/hda1 2 4 are check with e2fsck -cf that did not report any bad blocks too but /dev/hda3 which is swap i could not check and redhat setup programme said i got some bad block on /dev/hda2 which e2fsck did not report after wards. how can i check the whole hard drive? cause if i have bad block i will contact dell and request a new hard drive. thx -- Nurullah Akkaya [EMAIL PROTECTED] Registered Linux User #301438
