Recently my DNS (bind 9.2.2) has been flaky. Working perfectly until recently where I now must sometimes refresh or request resources a second time, the first time failing with DNS timeouts.
I'm running a older box with Psyche (RHL 8.0). The drive is partitioned and "df -h" shows nothing greater than 56% (/usr).
Is it possible the cache is full? Unlikely, but since I'm a novice by most benchmarks, I don't know what else to think.
Ideas eagerly solicited.
