Hello,

Exim as you may have heard from other people is quite flexible and
powerful.

The University of Lethbridge started off with mail relay machines setup
as a single Exim box handling incoming mail. Now it has 2 such servers
and most of their internal servers for mail are Exim based.

I think that at last count they handle upto 10,000+ messages (in/out) a
day with mail relays running exim+exiscan+sophie+sophos
anti-virus+spamassassin.

They have LDAP setup. All this is native to Exim except the Exiscan
patch. All of the this software runs off Dell PowerEdge 25xx and
15xx,16xx series servers.

        HTH. Cheers,

        Aly.
