Hi again,
Here is issue #3:
One of the reasons that I have had to perform multiple reinstalls is that I
have had situations with my network and pcmcia services try to grab the same
IRQ (clarified in the next issue). When this happens the kernel locks on
pcmcia services. I have tried to get out of the kernel to change or remove
pcmcia so that the system will boot, but have been unable to do so. I
should be able to select "I" to go into interactive mode, but I does not
work. I am getting very weary of having to slip in the install CD to get
around the problem and I don't have a floppy in order to create a startup
disk.

Any advice is appreciated.

Sincerely,

David Langschied
