I have a redhat 9, and I'm tring to install lm_sesnors, but failed to
do so. First, I installed lm_sensors from rpm, the one that came with
redhat 9. It didn't work, after i runned sensors-detect, and after that
sensors, the output was just something: you have a 256 dimm, you have a
128 dimm, and that's all, no voltages, no temperature.
So I tried to install i2c and lm_sensors from the official site, but
those didn't work either. i2c compiled and installed succefully, but
lm_sensors is constantly failing to compile, complaing that i2c is too
old (like I said, i2c si compiled and installed correctly, and i setup
in sensors's Makefile the path to i2c headers).
        I have a kt266a chipset motherboard, with a VT8233 southbridge
(gigabyte 8VTXE).
What am I doing wrong ? Is somebody that have such a motherboard, and
make it worked in redhat 9?
I'd be gratefull for any help.
