Hi, I'm having big problems with creating files bigger than 2GB on a
reiserfs (3.6 format).

Spec: 2.4.9-e.24enterprise and ReiserFS version 3.6.25 [as module]

Is it any truth the rumors that 2.4.18 based enterprise kernel is in
testing?

My configuration looks like this:

IBM ESS (Enterprise Storage Server)
Qlogic fiber channel cards (qla2300.o)
IBM® Subsystem Device Driver (SDD) - multipath software
Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS (v. 2.1) - 2.4.9-e.24enterprise kernel
Oracle 9.2.0

The database files is supposed to be located on the ESS disks.
On this configuration I would like to run a journaling filesystem, but
SDD software doesn't support ext3. That leaves with a defect/old
reiserfs code, which doesn't even support > 2GB files.

Any help appreciated !
